Joshua Tree National Park

I love to travel. Sometimes it reminds you of how much you have to learn or of what you already know and sometimes it brings you home to yourself.

The following are some images of Joshua Tree National Park – a place that simultaneously appears stagnant and expansive, sacred and ordinary, circumscribed yet open. Taken on a clear afternoon in January 2013, for me, these images capture its essence.
